#Latism16 – Excited to be a Latina recognized as a Change Agent!

One of the first ever networking conference events I attended was Latism13 in NYC.  I remember simply being overwhelmed with knowledge which was a good thing.  I attended mainly because I had just opened up my own business that year and I wanted to inquire and hear about others who had more experience than me.  I believe learning is essential in achieving success.   At that moment I realized how important it is to surround yourself with like minded individuals.  I met so many entrepreneurs and bloggers that day which was great and it provided me the positive energy I needed at the time.  I am so looking forward to #Latism16

I am so happy and excited to announce that I have been selected by LATISM (Latinos in Tech innovation and social media) as a Top Influencer for 2016. Social Media has been my savior in getting my business known to others.  I am so proud to be a Latina recognized as a Change Agent.  I believe we all need positive role models in our lives.  I enjoy being a voice for younger Latinas and encourage them to think outside the box.   We can invent and become entrepreneurs and so much more.  I enjoy empowering the Latino community and if I can motivate you in any way than my job is done.  Thank you all for the support which is greatly appreciated.

This three-day conference will help us all explore tech and social media to empower the Latino community. I hope all of you could attend LATISM16 which will take place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, FL on October 19-21, 2016.

Panels are centered around LATISM’s seven (7) different focus areas:

  • Business and Tech Entrepreneurship
  • Civic Engagement
  • Diversity and Inclusion
